The Java Tree Cards & Gifts offers the following Returns and Shipping Policy:
Retun Policy for Paper Products:
All customized material is non-returnable due to the nature of the item. Cards and invites that have been sent directly to you can be returned for a full refund if it has not been damaged or written on in any way. Cards that were sent to a recipient (through our Send-A-Greeting service) cannot be returned but may be elgible for a full refund once we verify we are liable for the mistake. Gifts and other non-personalized items are returnable in the package it was sent in. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee on all items except personalized items and figures. Please email customerservice@thejavatree.com for instructions and a return authorization number for returning. See below for return information regarding figures.
Shipping Of Paper Goods: All of our items are shipped through the United States Postal Service using Priority (2-3 day delivery), Express (optional for next day delivery on non-customized items) or First Class Mail (for individual greeting cards). Slight shipping mark-up at purchase includes fees for shipping & handling.
Shipping Policy for Figures:
Please note again that there are NO duplicate figures, and only one (1) for purchase. Each figure comes to you with a special card bearing their own personal inscription and a Certificate of Authenticity. Available items will normally ship within 24 hours or the next business day of our receiving the order and you will normally receive your order within 5 to 7 business days. Orders that come in on weekends or Holidays are usually also shipped the next business day. In the event that an item is unavailable at the time of your order or if an item becomes unavailable at any time after your order is received, we will call to inform you of this or email you.
A combined shipping & insurance charge of $15.00 is added to each item under $100.00 and $17.00 for over $100.00. This is only for figures! Shipping methods are UPS Ground or USPS Priority mail. Please include a street address for shipping. UPS does not deliver to post office boxes.
Return Policy for Figures:
If a customer notifies us within the 1st 7 days of receiving their order (see shipping instructions below) that they want to return a figure for any reason, we will accept it back with a full refund of the purchase price. The returned items must be in the original undamaged box with all accessories and packing materials included. Furthermore, the returned item must not show signs of abuse or wear and cannot be soiled. The cost of shipping returns in all cases other than a defect made by the artist will be the responsibility of the customer. Items must be shipped to The Java Tree as trackable and insured packages. We suggest that you use either UPS or FedEx for shipping (see shipping instructions below)
We will not be responsible for returned packages until we receive them.
Figures Damaged After 8 days:
After 8 days of receiving your order, we do not give refunds or exchanges for figures.
Shipping instructions for returns:
Please email us at customerservice@thejavatree.com to get a return authorization number for your package. We will not accept packages without this number and all packages will be promptly returned without opening if they do not have this number clearly marked on the outside of the shipping box.
Please fill out the area on the shipping slip explaining why the item is being returned.
